At Heart to Heart we choose our locations for the privacy and majesty that they offer and, of course, based upon your dreams for a location that is just right for you. Having our favorite spots that we have found to be off the beaten path, after your arrival on our island we ask that you visit a couple of recommended sites to get the feel of them. If you find a location yourselves that offers what you desire we are always happy to accomodate.

You will find that there is a "wet" side and a "dry" side of Kauai and having done weddings here for many years, we ultimately choose our locations according to what Mother Nature is offering us on your wedding day. Although a little rain is always considered to be a blessing and often results in rainbows, we try to avoid rain when possible and may suggest changing locations at the last minute for that reason.

The locations listed are NOT the locations that we limit ourselves to but are only a sampling of some of our favorite sites. We do not perform weddings at Heiau's (Hawaiian spiritual spots) out of respect for the Hawaiian people's wishes. Free locations are not by any means ordinary, they are simply those for which we do not have to charge additional fees. Some officiants, however, may charge travel time in addition to their regular fees for certain locations and we must pass that fee, usually $50-$75 on to you. If an additional fee is charged, the additional fee is listed next to the location and is due to excess travel, hiking time use fees.
